- Major (res.) Ronny Ganizate, 36 years old, from Givat Shmuel, a fighter in the 5030th battalion, the 'Alon' brigade (228), was liquidated by Hezbollah in battle in southern Lebanon.

- Israel continues to hide the number of soldiers killed, only allowing publication for a tiny percentage of them.
