The halt of health services in Gaza and North Gaza governorates warns of an imminent humanitarian disaster threatening 700,000 people. We demand the establishment of field hospitals and the immediate and urgent entry of medical delegations.
The "israeli" occupation continues to destroy all the essentials of life for our Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to treatment and medicine. The occupation systematically targets the health sector and hospitals in a destructive manner, intentionally shutting down health institutions even without any pretexts.
We confirm that the Gaza and North Gaza governorates have completely lost health services and no longer have the capacity to provide even secondary medical services. This follows the shutdown of Kamal Adwan Hospital and the siege of Al-Awda Hospital for the fourth consecutive day. We also confirm the halt of primary care services, maternity and child care services, and child vaccinations due to the ongoing military aggression by the occupation for the twelfth consecutive day.
We emphasize the urgent and pressing need for immediate support in the form of field hospitals, medical delegations, medicines, and fuel to the Gaza and North Gaza governorates to ensure the provision of a minimum and reasonable level of medical service and healthcare as much as possible. The failure to meet these necessities threatens the lives of 700,000 people in these governorates.
We call on the international community and international and UN organizations to protect the healthcare system and its personnel, enabling them to continue their work instead of being targeted, killed, pursued, and arrested by the "israeli" occupation. We also urge them to take clear responsibility against the sadistic practices exercised by the "israeli" occupation army against our people and various health institutions.
We reiterate our demand to international and UN organizations and all the free countries of the world to provide field hospitals and medical delegations from all over the world to support our Palestinian people and the doctors and medical teams in the Gaza governorates, especially in Gaza and North Gaza governorates, which are being focused on and taken out of service by the occupation.
