Breaking | Norway has officially recognized an independent Palestinian state.

According to the Norway Prime Minister's office, Norway has officially recognized Palestine as a state, aligning with international law and relevant Security Council resolutions. This recognition signifies that Norway will treat Palestine as an independent state, with all its accompanying rights and responsibilities.

Slovenia and Malta have indicated plan to make the recognition soon, possibly in a coordinated announcement, arguing a two-state solution is essential for lasting peace in the region.

Casualties mount as Israeli jets, artillery, quadcopter drones attack Gaza overnight

"Today, I am sending a sharp message to Ireland and Norway: Israel will not go over this in silence," stated Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Israel Katz.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's declaration of recognition of the Palestinian state was met with hearty applause during his speech in front of Parliament today.
