During his meeting yesterday with the German president, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza should not be overlooked.
He further stated that Turkey had severed all trade relations with Israel in response to the wide destruction carried out by Israel in Gaza.
Expressing concern over the rise of extremist movements in Western countries, Erdogan remarked, "Gaza is being devastated while the West stands by Israel."
Erdogan later declared, "We consider Hamas to be the national forces of Palestine, and we will continue to view our brothers from Hamas as defenders of their homeland against the occupiers."
