Canada passes a motion on Palestine tabled by the New Democratic Party calling for:

• An immediate ceasefire
• Cease of transfer and authorization of arms export to Israel
• Recognition of the ICC and it's findings
• Resumption of UNRWA funding

An amendment excluded the call to "officially recognize the State of Palestine".

Israeli settler groups have submitted a request to storm the Old City of Gaza, where they could perform Jewish rituals inside the Al-Omari Mosque. Among the applicants are Israeli soldiers and reservists working in Gaza.

According to the groups' statement, they believe that the Israeli army will consider the request and approve it.

The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club reported that Israeli occupation authorities have intensified the arrest of Palestinians previously released in exchange agreements, following a ceasefire agreement reached in November.

They reported that 13 released prisoners have been re-arrested, with 11 of them still in custody. As part of the agreement, 240 Palestinian females and children were released.

This brings the total number of arrests since October 7 to approximately 7,670, including those taken from their homes, at checkpoints, under pressure to surrender, or as hostages.
