On International Women's Day, women in Gaza endure all kinds of suffering and deprivation. They bid farewell to their sons and husbands, caught between martyrdom and disappearance. They find themselves responsible for their children without a provider, forced to be both mother and father, brother and sister, to ensure their children do not feel deprived. This is in addition to the tragic conditions faced by over 52,000 pregnant women in Gaza, exposed to danger due to the collapse of the healthcare system and the lack of food and water amidst the brutal war waged by the Israeli occupation on Gaza

As we celebrate International Women's Day, Women in Gaza suffer from killing, arrest, and forced displacement without guaranteeing their basic human rights. We find ourselves faced with shocking numbers about the suffering of women in Gaza during the war:
🔴 1.1 million women are under the burden of war. They suffer from starvation and constant targeting
🔴 52,000 pregnant women do not find the necessary medical and health care, not even food and medicine
🔴 500,000 women displaced as a result of the war, suffering from a lack of security and privacy, in addition to the absence of basic necessities of life.
🔴 690,000 women of menstruating age cannot find the necessary sanitary supplies
🔴 70% of the martyrs are women and children, amounting to more than 8,100 female martyrs and 12,800 child martyrs.
