We commend the contents of the final statement of the 37th African Summit of Heads of State and Governments of the African Union Member States, which concluded its proceedings yesterday, Sunday, in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

We welcome the African Union's prevention of an "israeli" delegation from entering its headquarters, as their request was to hold meetings with African officials to present their perspective on the developments of the aggression on Gaza.

We also welcome and consider what was stated in the final statement as a victory for the blood of our people and a clear condemnation of the occupation entity, warranting the prosecution of its politicians and war generals.
