Palestinian human rights groups have accused the UN special advisor on the prevention of genocide, Alice Wairimu Nderitu, of failing to fulfill her mandate regarding the Israeli genocide against Gaza after she issued only one statement in October, showing support for "Israel".
The groups sent a letter to António Guterres today as reported by Al Mayadeen, criticizing Nderitu's silence on ICJ's ruling in January against "Israel"
Moreover Nderitu and her office are also not communicating with Palestinian groups who stated that she has been canceling planned meetings, refusing to respond to messages expressing concern, and failing to partake in official meetings within the UN building in New York addressing the threat of genocide in Gaza, contrary to other UN rapporteurs
Nderitu's formal task is to advance national and international initiatives to safeguard populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity, and the incitement thereof.

about 13,000 injured troops since October 7.
As a portion of the injured were discharged after receiving treatments, 2,830 troops remain in hospitals in ongoing treatment, the newspaper reported today.
The real number of wounded soldiers is in reality much higher than what the occupation media reports, as the IOF censors the latter and the occupation continuously attempts to hide the extent of its losses.
