UNCONFIRMED REPORTS that Israel might have tried to enter parts of Gaza, at least with some sort of "Reconnaissance in Force" groups...
Palestinian sources indicate that a special unit of the Israeli army had planned to enter Gaza from the Al-Maghazi, Al-Bureij, and Beit Hanoun areas but was forced to retreat after encountering fierce resistance.
