Global Allies Surprised by the Rapid Degradation of US Military Power in the Gulf

By
#OpIsraelTeam War Correspondent

We knew it, but would any of you—Western societies, Asians, Africans, or the Gulf regimes—ever have thought that American military power in the Gulf region could be destroyed so rapidly?

The U.S. has exhausted its missile defense interceptors and is now seeking to retrieve Patriot systems previously transferred to South Korea and Turkey—as confirmed by South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun on March 6, 2026. These discussions involve U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) assets at bases like Osan, where C-17 and C-5 transports have been observed, though Seoul opposes the redeployment due to North Korean threats; President Lee Jae-myung has stated that South Korea cannot prevent the U.S. from repositioning its own equipment.[3][4] Similar pressures apply to Patriot systems recently deployed in Turkey near the Kurecik NATO radar site in Malatya on March 10, 2026, to counter Iranian missile overflights—deployments that could prove reversible should Gulf requirements intensify.

Key radar installations have been destroyed, and reinstalling them across Gulf states, alongside full redeployment of missile defenses, would take years due to logistical, integration, and supply chain complexities. Is rebuilding a viable option, or would a strategic withdrawal from the Gulf represent the more prudent choice?

The establishment of U.S. military bases in the Gulf region was driven by a strategic calculus prioritizing the security of Israel alongside the protection of allied Gulf regimes and their energy resources. This posture did not emerge overnight but evolved through deliberate, multi-decade planning and bilateral agreements. A primary, though often understated, objective has been to ensure the defensive viability of the colonial project, Israel —a key non-NATO ally—amid regional contingencies. The U.S. military footprint functions as a stabilizing deterrent, safeguarding mutual interests against shared threats while reinforcing the regional security architecture.

America's Strategic Military Footprint in the Middle East

The United States has cultivated a powerful military network across the Middle East, established through decades of strategic agreements. In the Gulf, Bahrain has hosted the U.S. Navy since 1948 and is now headquarters for the Fifth Fleet. Qatar's Al Udeid Air Base, built in 1996, serves as the region's largest U.S. facility and forward CENTCOM headquarters. Saudi Arabia's Prince Sultan Air Base became a key hub during the 1990s Gulf War, while Kuwait's Camp Arifjan was constructed shortly after to serve as a major Army logistics center. In the UAE, Al Dhafra Air Base has hosted the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing since 2002, supporting air refueling and reconnaissance. Oman has granted access rights at Thumrait and Masirah Island since 1980. Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Base, a Jordanian facility built in 1980, saw major U.S. expansion in 2019 and hosts rotational Air Force assets. Though without permanent bases, the U.S. has conducted military exercises in Egypt since 1981. These strategic assets remain central to regional security operations and power projection.

American military might was an illusion, best left to Hollywood movies. In reality, the U.S. suffered defeat in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Today, after so many years of sanctions imposed on Iran, Tehran has nonetheless managed to degrade or destroy American military bases and naval assets across the Gulf. How could America realistically confront China, North Korea, or even Russia? The question may be academic—the United States is unlikely to go to war with them. But the America’s stubborn child, the sycophant child Israel, will no longer be able to terrorize the region. If the U.S. cannot protect itself, how can it continue to shield the sycophant child?

Iranian Army Launches Drone Strikes on Israel's Unit 8200 HQ in Haifa

In a bold escalation of cyber-physical warfare, the Iranian Army's Air Force executed precision drone strikes early this morning targeting key Israeli intelligence infrastructure in Haifa, according to Army Statement No. 23.

Among the confirmed strike locations: the headquarters of Unit 8200—Israel's elite signals intelligence (SIGINT) and cyber warfare unit under Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN)—alongside the Green Pine early-warning radar and Haifa naval base's submarine command facility.

Unit 8200 stands as the architect of Israel's cyber offensive capabilities, infamously masterminding the Stuxnet worm that sabotaged Iran's Natanz nuclear centrifuges in 2010. The unit generates approximately 80% of Israel's raw intelligence for national security agencies, powering everything from targeted assassinations to network intrusions.

This direct kinetic assault on cyber command nodes signals Iran's intent to degrade Israel's electronic warfare edge amid the ongoing Iran-US-Israel conflict, potentially disrupting SIGINT collection and missile defense integration. Cybersecurity implications loom large: compromised Unit 8200 operations could expose vulnerabilities in Israel's cyber defenses.

Amnesty International warned that Palestinian women and girls in the Gaza Strip are facing some of the most severe forms of discrimination and attacks as the ongoing war continues and healthcare services collapse.

In a statement, the rights group said Israeli attacks and the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure have severely damaged essential healthcare systems, particularly services related to reproductive health.

Amnesty cited findings from a United Nations Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which concluded in March 2025 that Israel had systematically used sexual, reproductive and other forms of gender-based violence against Palestinians.

A new settlement named Ebal was established near Nablus after approval from Israeli occupation military forces, as part of a broader plan to expand and legalize dozens of settlements across the occupied territory.

International media outlets, including NBC News, have reported on a cyberattack carried out by the Handala group against U.S.-based medical technology company Stryker.

The attackers gained access to Microsoft Intune, a platform used by organizations to manage and secure corporate devices. After compromising the system, the hackers triggered the platform’s remote wipe capability, resetting a large number of employee mobile devices to factory settings.

The incident disrupted internal communications across the company and significantly impacted day‑to‑day operations.

The attackers appear to have abused Intune’s legitimate device management features—particularly the remote wipe function—to erase data from affected devices and force system resets.
