Italy Sees Massive General Strike in Solidarity With Gaza

Italy is seeing a powerful 24-hour general strike today, Sept. 22, as millions of workers across transport, education, logistics, and other sectors are expected to join protests for Gaza. ➤ Unions are linking Gaza solidarity to broader social justice and labor demands, calling for housing investment, welfare expansion, and better workplace safety.

➤ Rallies and blockades are underway in ports of Genoa and Salerno, and also Rome, Milan, and other cities, demonstrating broad popular support for ending the genocide and backing Palestinian rights.
