Israeli prisoners released as part of the fifth batch of the exchange deal: The only way for the prisoners to return is through completing the deal and returning all Palestinian prisoners to their homes safely, and for the second and third phases of the deal to continue.

An Israeli captive in a message: “I hope that all stages of the deal will continue to be implemented and that this terrible war will end.”

Red Cross vehicles arrive in Deir el-Balah for captives’ handover

A convoy of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) vehicles has arrived at a captives’ handover location in central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah.

Dozens of heavily armed Palestinian fighters and a controlled crowd of civilian onlookers are also at the site.
