1๏ธโฃ Renรฉ Felber: โSince the territories were occupied, the Special Committee appointed by the General Assembly is charged with monitoring respect for human rights in that part of the world. It has never been authorized to enter Israel or the territories in order to fulfil its mandate. It has prepared its reports by hearing witnesses outside the territories. Neither the General Assembly nor the Commission on Human Rights have been able to persuade Israel to change its attitude towards the Committee.โ
2๏ธโฃ Hannu Halinen: โIt should be noted that as long as the occupation continues, the Palestinian Authority has no responsibility based on international law to respect obligations of human rights and humanitarian law, since formally it cannot be a party to any relevant agreements or conventions. Therefore, it is all the more noteworthy that the Palestinian Authority is making consistent efforts to act already at this stage in accordance with those agreements and conventions.โ
3๏ธโฃ Giorgio Giacomelli: โThat the occupying Power immediately issue orders to all its forces, civilian or military, consistent with international humanitarian norms;
That those orders be rigorously implemented and that the appropriate training be provided when required;
That a permanent mechanism be established to ensure that the orders are followed and, when they are not, to determine accountability, assign punishment and redress violations.โ
4๏ธโฃ John Dugard: โThe international community, speaking through the United Nations, has identified three regimes as inimical to human rights - colonialism, apartheid and foreign occupation. Numerous resolutions of the General Assembly of the United Nations testify to this. Israelโs occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem contains elements of all three of these regimes, which is what makes the Occupied Palestinian Territory of special concern to the international community.โ
5๏ธโฃ Richard Falk: โThe report gives considerable attention to the ongoing blockade of Gaza by the Government of Israel. In this context, the implications of the blockade for efforts to rebuild following Operation Cast Lead are highlighted, as well as persistent calls from the international community for Israel to lift the blockade. The Special Rapporteur recalls the situation of Palestinian refugees, and emphasizes the need to keep their plight on the agenda of any effort to establish peace. Finally, the report welcomes a civil society-led campaign to boycott, divest from and sanction Israel for its occupation of Palestinian territories.โ
6๏ธโฃ Makarim Wibisono: โInternational humanitarian law and international human rights law should be providing for civilians, including children, across the Occupied Palestinian Territory is distressingly absent. It is especially deplorable that Palestinian children are suffering the brunt of occupation policies and practices of Israel, whether as a result of the blockade and hostilities in Gaza, the excessive use of force by Israeli security forces in the context of legitimate protests and peaceful demonstrations, as well as search operations in the refugee camps, and abuse and ill-treatment in Israeli prisons.โ

7โฃ Michael Lynk: โInternational humanitarian law permits differential treatment of an indigenous population during an occupation, but only in a restricted fashion. Such treatment must be anchored in the principle that any infringements to human rights and equality are to be as minimal and proportional as possible during the conduct of an occupation that is both temporary and short-term. This is not the case in the 55-year-old occupation by Israel.
Permanent alien rule over occupied territory and its indigenous population is the antithesis of international humanitarian law and, in recent decades, the inexorable Israeli occupation has become indistinguishable from annexation.โ
8๏ธโฃ Francesca Albanese: โIsraelโs genocide on the Palestinians in Gaza is an escalatory stage of a longstanding settler colonial process of erasure. For over seven decades this process has suffocated the Palestinian people as a group โ demographically, culturally, economically and politically โ, seeking to displace it and expropriate and control its land and resources. The ongoing Nakba must be stopped and remedied once and for all. This is an imperative owed to the victims of this highly preventable tragedy, and to future generations in that land.โ
A - The Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories is a Special Rapporteur who works for the United Nations and reports on the human rights situation specifically in the occupied Palestinian territories.
B - The mandate was established in 1993 by the former Commission on Human Rights. The task of the Special Rapporteur is to assess the human rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, report publicly about it, and work with governments, civil society and others to foster international cooperation.
C - The mandate calls on the Special Rapporteur:
* To investigate Israel's violations of the principles and bases of international law, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel since 1967;
* To receive communications, to hear witnesses, and to use such modalities of procedure as he may deem necessary for his mandate; and
* To report, with his conclusions and recommendations, to the Commission on Human Rights at its future sessions, until the end of the Israeli occupation of those territories.

Jordanian women gather in support of Palestine and the resistance, organizing a demonstration in front of the Trade Union in Amman, demanding action to stop the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
WHAT DOES THE RESISTANCE WANT?
The Resistance broadly wants the end of Western interference in the Middle East. No bases, no interventions, no govt toppling, no economic blockades, no sponsoring hostile armed groups, etc. It is not different than what Russia wants in its backyard, and what China wants in its backyard; or what Americans themselves want in their backyard.
Israel, like Ukraine and Taiwan, is one of America and NATO's colonial outposts enforcing global unipolarity: the world order since 1991, led by the United States and its ruling financial oligarchy (Wall Street, etc.), that exploits the world to this oligarchy's benefit.
Thus, the regional forces of the Resistance in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Iran and elsewhere are just another front in the global conflict between the forces of Unipolarity and an emerging Multipolarity: where each major region of the world (pole) can self-determine its own outcomes, with regions cooperating in mutually beneficial win-win agreements from trade to scientific accomplishment etc. Similar to China's international economic policies currently with regards to Belt & Road.
Regular Americans have nothing to gain from these overseas conflicts or the Unipolar System. America's constant involvement in these conflicts have NOT helped Americans earn better wages, have lower inflation, have lower cost of living, acquire housing, have better infrastructure, or lead meaningful, successful lives. All these conflicts have only ever benefited the pockets of the few who comprise the ruling class, while straining America's economy (thereby the people).
Since 2000, things have been getting worse and worse for average Americans as American imperial adventurism overextends itself after the Soviet collapse. More small businesses permanently closing, many industries outsourcing & destroying domestic labor, ever increasing drug abuse epidemics, decreasing homeownership, ever increasing unhappiness, ever increasing poverty, ever increasing cost of living, deteriorating infrastructure, an incompetent political leadership, and so on. All these wars do is drain the pockets of regular Americans and others around the world and enrich the few in the ruling class.
You do not have to support the Palestinian Resistance or others. They do not ask for it. The little they do ask is simply for Western citizens to help push for an end of Western govt involvement in their respective regions; for everyone to focus on their own problems. That is all.

Never forget that terrorism was created by the West and most terrorist organisations can be traced back to MI5, CIA, Mossad and other Western support/Funding.

Increasing Israelโs competence in AI
+972 mag reported that the IDF used at least 3 AI systems in conjunction with one another to target and kill Palestinians in Gaza: Lavender
These AI programs were trained on all sorts of data such as names, phone no.โs, addresses, biometrics, image and video, gps coordinates, social media profiles, facial features etc.
This is how they generated a massive Kill List.
Processing this amount of data, within seconds, for an IDF soldiers to green light requires an enormous amount of power and machinery.

Or does Amazon/Google provide Israel with the machinery?

They were โworried about Israeli human rights abusesโ but sold it to them anyway.
