WHO warns of ‘extreme’ malnutrition in north Gaza

The World Health Organization says that malnutrition in northern Gaza was “particularly extreme”.

“The situation is particularly extreme in northern Gaza,” said Richard Peeperkorn, WHO representative for Gaza and the West Bank.

On International Women's Day, women in Gaza endure all kinds of suffering and deprivation. They bid farewell to their sons and husbands, caught between martyrdom and disappearance. They find themselves responsible for their children without a provider, forced to be both mother and father, brother and sister, to ensure their children do not feel deprived. This is in addition to the tragic conditions faced by over 52,000 pregnant women in Gaza, exposed to danger due to the collapse of the healthcare system and the lack of food and water amidst the brutal war waged by the Israeli occupation on Gaza
