We have received word from the local protestors in Newtownmountkennedy that today is the pivotal day regarding the very survival the town.
They are asking everyone who possibly can to support them today in the town at 1pm, and that they need a big turnout or they fear the worst.

It's suspected that the residents of the migrant slum on Mount Street will be moved to Newtownmountkennedy today after Taoiseach Simon Harris told the Dáil today that there were plans to clear it imminently.
Drone footage captured today show the site at Trudder House is prepared with large concrete bollards now blocking the space where protesters had set up a camp opposite the site.
Locals are acting on intel that the migrants will be delivered to Trudder House at 5AM. Some intend to line the side of the road from 4AM onwards for a peaceful protest.
