๐Roscrea, Co. Tipperary
At very short notice, this hotel is being filled with migrants. Seemingly, the Irish government is trying to change tactics to overcome overwhelming opposition to their people trafficking policies: by speeding up the process or by telling lies about "Ukrainian families" being housed in the properties.
The people of Roscrea have commendably gathered at short notice. We encourage any concerned locals of the Roscrea area to assist with the blockade of this migration centre.

4. Claremorris
Castlegarrret house near Claremorris has been earmarked for plantation. Locals held a well attended protest on Saturday with approx 200 in attendance. 2 local councillors agreed to stand and protest with the locals. There is a gathering outside the Mayo county council meeting at 2pm Monday. Locals want it explicitly known that they do not want any migrants whatsoever put into the building.

5. Urlingford
After 14 days of 24/7 blockade of a building marked for plantation, locals of Urlingford held another rally and march through the town on Saturday. The protest has put serious pressure on building owners and local authorities to make assurances that the building would not be used to house bus loads of male migrants.
At around 1:30am Sunday morning the camp was trashed and caravan burned down by suspected pro-plantation activists while it was left temporarily unattended. Locals are determined to continue their opposition and won't let this act of intimidation frighten them into submission. Another protest is planned for next Saturday at 2pm.

6. Rosslare:
Protests ongoing. Plans for a 3rd centre in the town, the site of a former nursing home which has closed.
Over 60 days of protests, the government has refused to engage with the protestors in any meaningful sense.
Protestors want their community to be invested in, to get their nursing home back up and running, not to have it planted by another 400-500 IPAS
Protestors have great resolve, not going to back down.
7. Roscrea
The only functional hotel Racket Hall has been closed to the people of Roscrea and the surrounding areas in order to house migrants. There was a protest on Saturday on the main street with TDs Mattie McGrath and Martin Brown addressing the crowd. Locals are manning a 24/7 blockade of the site. More to follow.
