Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday dismissed Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s call for a "neutral" investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack, pointing to Islamabad’s initial denial of the incident.

"First, they refused to acknowledge that anything had happened in Pahalgam. Instead, they accused India of staging the attack," Abdullah said. "When the same people who made such allegations now talk about an investigation, it’s hard to take their statements seriously. I don't wish to attach much importance to their remarks."
