The so-called first world countries, are ablaze by protestors. The protestors are mainly composed of either youths or immigrants. This is one of the biggest waves of revolution europa ever faced, after the napoleonic reforms. Repelling this wave is next to impossible. Either the aggressive protestors will change the political landscape of Europe, or the right wing of Europe will thrive. This time range will be noticed as one of the most tense periods for democracies not only of Europe but also the nations like India and Argentina. Together we say All eyes on democracies.

Is this the start of anarchy? Or will democracy survive?

Student protests over infrastructure and staffing deficits have escalated into nationwide unrest against rising living costs and declining public services. CGT estimates 800,000 participants; the Interior Ministry counts 550,000 across 100+ marches.

Government failures in school facilities, teacher shortages, and service quality have eroded institutional trust. While policy failures do not justify violence, masked militants (casseurs) have hijacked peaceful demonstrations. Key incidents include the arson of the Limoges town hall, attacks on Marseille city hall, and a burned tourist office in Lyon. Shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, and boutiques were looted, harming small business owners and workers.

Marine Le Pen accused Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s France Unbowed of legitimizing violence. Mélenchon condemned looting, but critics argue his rhetoric provides cover for radical elements.

The government must answer for policy failures; protesters for their actions. Neither incompetence nor radical rhetoric justifies destroying livelihoods.
