A new sanctions bill that proposes tariffs up to 100% on exports from 🇮🇳India, 🇨🇳China, 🇸🇰Slovakia, 🇭🇺Hungary, 🇦🇿Azerbaijan for purchasing Russian oil.

The bill is a softened version of the Sanctioning Russia Act, which was introduced in the US Senate in April last year and proposed a possible 500 percent tariff on countries purchasing Russian energy, including India.

The bill - which has been backed by the White House - could be passed before August
