I know many Muslims in the UK will be shaken by this, worried about their safety when going about their lives and attending mosque, and what it says about the times we’re living in. I understand those fears.
Violence like this does not happen in a vacuum. It grows in an environment where division and anti-Muslim hostility are normalised.
That is intolerable. We must all come together against it.

Issuing arrest warrants against the head of government is a declaration of war. And issuing arrest warrants against the security minister and the finance minister is a declaration of war. In the face of this declaration of war, we will respond with a fierce war. I'm not a submissive Jew, no.
The Palestinian Authority has declared war and will receive war in return.
From today, every economic or other target I can affect within my powers as finance minister and security minister will be targeted. Not just words and slogans — but actions.
I hereby announce the first target to be targeted — as soon as I finish my speech, I will sign an order to evacuate (the arab settlement of) Khan al-Ahmar within my powers as security minister.
To all our enemies: this is just the beginning.
