The Pentagon is preparing to resume the war on Iran in the coming days, perhaps under a new name rather than "epic fury." Two Middle East officials said the United States and Israel are making intensive preparations - the largest since the ceasefire went into effect - for the possibility of renewed attacks on Iran as early as next week. If Trump decides to resume the attacks, the options include more aggressive bombing waves against military targets and infrastructure in Iran, and another possibility is sending special forces to the ground in order to reach nuclear materials buried deep underground. The possible operation to remove enriched uranium from Iran would involve hundreds of fighters from the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division, and these forces may also participate in the operation to capture Kharg Island.
