As we approach the time of new wine (August 7th - 19th)… I find it fascinating that things are heating up in Israel!

As you guys know… the 9th of Av (Aug 13th/14th) is a significant date, and falls right within the time of new wine.
I think even Israel has got to be looking at what is happening and how near they are to the 9th of Av with a sense of foreboding.

The Hebrew word for “dove” is connected to “wine”!

Strong’s 3123 yonah = dove

Strongs 3196. yayin = wine

From Strongs concordance:
7ạ yownah, yo-naw, probably from the same as H3196 (wine); a dove (apparently from the warmth of their mating):—dove, pigeon.

So when is it that the Holy Spirit (the dove) was poured out (like wine) on the upper room?

Well, let me ask you this. What do we as believers have the firstfruits of?

Romans 8:23
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Answer: we have the first fruits of the Spirit! (The wine)

When is the first fruits of wine? And when was Peter accused of being drunk on new wine?

Answer: At New Wine season (which also coincides with the end of the wheat harvest)

Ephesians 5:18
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
