Wine is associated with grain. 🌾🍇
Why? Because at the time when the wheat harvest is considered complete, that is when you get the firsfruit grapes available for wine.
Leviticus 26:5
5 Your threshing shall last to the time of the grape harvest 🍇, and the grape harvest shall last to the time for sowing. And you shall eat your bread 🍞 to the full and dwell in your land securely.
And NEW WINE comes from the first drippings BEFORE the wine press is trodden… as in before the “wine press of wrath”. New wine is not from crushed grapes, and it requires new wineskins.
Mark 2:22
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins—and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins.”
