U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols denied the request for a new trial that Steve Bannon filed after he got convicted for ignoring a subpoena from the J6 committee.
Bannon claimed the trial was unfair; the jury was biased and he was blocked from having lawmakers testify.
"Defendant has not shown that the testimony from any member of the House of Representatives that he sought would be material," the judge wrote.
