A new book related to Andalusi cooking has been published from Brill.
There is 460 recipes included in this book!
Many Andalusian cuisine have been lost but there has been a big influence on the cuisine of Morocco, Algeria and Tunis due to the number of migrants being forced out of al-Andlalus and later settling in these lands.

This is a collection of some of the books by Ustad Muhammad al-Qahdi.
He is a historian of al-Andalus and has done a lot of work related to Andalusian history. He has also translated many works into Arabic.
Recently Ustad was sick and now he is feeling better. May Allah protect him.

🔷New Book!
A newly published book on medicine for the first time has been published.
Abu Ishaq Ibrahim al-Qariji al-Andalusi (died after 637H.) who was one of the main physicians near the end of fall of al-Andalus.
The book talks about topics related to preserving the body from diseases, negative effects that can occur on body organs, herbal treatments, etc.
This book is based off three other famous books of medicine written by Andalusians:
1. al-Taysir fi al-Mudawa wa'l-Tadbir from ibn Zuhr
2. al-Kuliyat fi al-Tib from Abu Walid ibn Rushd
3. al-Adwiya al-Mufarida from Abu al-Abbas al-Nabati ibn al-Rumiya
Ustadh Al-Mahdi ibn Muhammad al-Sa’idi helped annotate the book. He is doing a great job in publishing new books from Moroccan and Andalusi heritage.

Poem of Lisan ad-Din ibn al-Khatib of the Nasri Ruler Yusuf I of Granada | Shaykh Said al-Kamali
I translated a poem from a famous well known historian, polymath and minister of al-Andalus, Lisan ad-Din ibn al-Khatib.
In this poem, Lisan ad-Din speaks highly of one of the last kings of Al-Andlaus, Abu Hajjaj Yusuf ibn Nasir.
Abu Hajjaj is also named al-Muayyad Billah and was the seventh ruler of the Emirate of Granada.
