🔷My brothers and sisters, don’t be afraid if you are not married and don’t have much money or you are already married and in need for some money.

The promise of Allah is true. Don’t feel sad nor let others put you down.

Patience is the Key. It will come,In’Shā’Allāh.

‎وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ إِن يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

And marry off the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

Surah an-Nūr: Verse 32

🔷 Look what Imām Qurtubī says in his Tafsir on the Ayah:

“Do not refrain from giving in marriage (or marrying off) because the men or the women is poor.

If they are poor, Allah will make them independent of means by His bounty.

This is a promise of independence of means to those who get married, seeking the pleasure of Allah and seeking to protect themselves from Sin.”

🔷Recently there was an event in Tetouan, Morocco about the knowledge and training of manuscripts.

Many of these manuscripts are recovered from Andalusian and North African scholars and are continued to be published until this very day.

Those who took part in the share of this event was Shaykh Doctor Abd Allah at-Tourātī at-Tetuanī (https://twitter.com/taourati1), Shaykh Doctor Badr al-Imrānī, Shaykh Doctor Abd ar-Rahmān al-Ajāwī and others.

🔷Due to the recent events involving the Corona virus many people have rushed to their markets to stock up in household items. We see many people all over the world panicking on what to do next.

People have been so paranoid about the virus that there has been fighting and chaos just to take items of the shelves in the markets.

This reminded me that even though we are in the Dunya, the events that will happen on the Day of Judgement will be far more serious and terrifying.

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ

It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about (Surah al-Qāriah 101:4)

🔷Ibn Juzayy al-Andalusī mentioned in his book of Tafsir on Surah al-Qāriah that some scholars have said:

The people when standing from the grave (on the day of judgement) firstly, will be like scattered moths.

This is because they (the people) will go around without any orderly conduct, disorderly.

Then a caller (from the angels) will call the people to be directed for the place to be judged.

And they will become during that time like scattered locusts because locusts tend to one direction (when they move).

Due to the recent Corona Virus, the Muslims should take heed and increase in worship these days.

Al-Imām Muḥammad al-Qurṭubī al-Mālikī (d. 671 A.H) said:

❝Tribulation and great hardship will happen until the matter of religion is taken lightly and people will care about nothing but their worldly affairs and how to earn a living.

So, worship becomes very important at times of tribulation, as Muslim narrated from Maʿqil bin Yassār in the Marfūʿ report (one attributed to the Prophet ‎ﷺ‎): ‘Worshipping at times of tribulation and confusion is like migrating to join me.’ [Muslim]❞

🔷Ahdān in the city of Granada, Spain.

Following the sunnah, in the Great Mosque of Granada the call to prayer, adhan, is done, but instead of calling people to pray in the mosque, that is closed, it calls for people to pray in the houses. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

According to Sahih Al Bukhari’s Book on “Call to Prayer”, as narrated by Abdullah bin Al Harith: “Once on a rainy muddy day, Ibn Abbas delivered a sermon in our presence and when the muezzin pronounced the adhan and said, 'Haiya ala salat (come to the prayer)' Ibn Abbas ordered him to say 'Pray at your homes.' The people began to look at each other (surprisingly). Ibn Abbas said. "It was done by one who was much better than I (i.e. the Prophet or his muezzin), and it is a licence.'

In another Hadith in Sahih Al Bukrahi’s book, narrated Nafi: "Once on a cold night, Ibn Umar pronounced the adhan for the prayer at Dajnan (the name of a mountain) and then said: "Pray at your homes", and informed us that Allah's Messenger used to tell the muezzin to pronounce adhan and say: "Pray at your homes" at the end of the adhan on a rainy or a very cold night during the journey."

🔷In the book, al-Mayār al-Mu’rib, a 13 volume collection of Fatāwā (Islamic rulings) of classical scholars from al-Andalus, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia complied by one of the top scholars of the Mālikī Madhab, Imām Ahmed ibn Yahyā al-Wansharīsī mentioned:

“Those affected by an epidemic should not be left vulnerable to death.”

◾️A question was asked on a epidemic that occurred and people fled on what was obligatory (on establishing) their brother’s rights. Due to the fact of what they saw had happened on the people from the spreading of the epidemic and they were on the brink of death.

Is it allowed to flee (from the place of the epidemic)?

➡️Answer:

Fulfillment of the rights of the Muslims from nursing, washing and burying them is a must/duty and not to permissible to its abandonment.

And likewise like from visiting the sick and from what the Religion of Islam calls to of good, is not proper to leave.

What was narrated related to the prohibition of coming to the place where the epidemic occurred, what is meant is the prohibition of a person who was not in the place of the epidemic and then is coming to it.

How is it that an obligation is left that is mandated by the religion? or how to leave something that is loved and instigated by the religion? All because of the reported infection, which is a delusional matter of the unseen which Allah has all knowledge.

The Prophet (ﷺ) called it (a plague) a Mercy and what is meant is that a person would desire the rewards from it in the afterlife.

And no doubt that the rewards for patience during it and establishing the wajib acts can not be counted (it will be a lot of rewards).

Imām ibn Hazm al-Andalusī:

If you find that you have a natural inclination towards a particular science - even if that science is inferior to others - don’t preoccupy yourself with other than it, lest you become like the one who tries to grow coconut trees in Andalus or olive trees in India; they don’t bear anything.
