Revision helps in increasing our MEMORY for concepts & formulas. During studying, while switching to other subject, revision of previous will help that subject in memory. Periodic attempting tests is the best way to make a habit of revision. Once you have read the subject, then its the time to test your knowledge. Its natural human tendency that when we encounter challenges usually then we become most focused for revision in an aim of scoring good rank. GATE is jointly held by IISc and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB) – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
Candidates who qualify GATE will be able to apply for admission with possible financial assistance to masters’ programmes and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, humanities; and doctoral programmes in relevant branches of engineering.
GATE score is also considered by some colleges and institutions for admission to postgraduate programmes without MoE scholarship. Several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have also been using GATE score for recruitment.
