Guys, we have made a Rank Prediction Form based on the Level of paper of GATE and Highest score obtained and relating it to Past year GATE data.
To make this more accurate share ur most expected marks and we will include the margin of Bonus marks and tell u ur Most expected Rank.πππ
π©NOTE: We will provide Literature Reference for your queries related to Challenge to support your challenge more strongly. So do mention the keywords in which you are willing to challenge the Master Keysβπ»

Guys one request,
This GATE Petroleum Engineering Rank PREDICTOR is based on your own responses that you all have or will enter. We will consider that whatsoever you have entered is right.
More the responses more clearer and accurate will be the prediction. So we want more of you to fill this form for making this prediction more accurate.
So,We just request you to enter the right marks. If you donot want to share your Name due to any reasons, keep yourself Anonymous, write XYZ.
But atleast if you r opening that form and filling it...giving your time on it,, do mention atleast Right calculated marks & mail id so that we may predict the right rank.. & mail you your expected Rank.
Thanks.

Friends,
This is the Most expected "Ranks-Marks-Score" trend for GATE Petroleum Engineering-2021.
We have also mailed expected ranks and Score to top 50 students based on response that we got from 153 students on Rank Predictor Form !!
We have also made a function by which now we can easily estimate the score range and narrow down your exact score based on GATE score formula. If you could not fill the form earlier, you can contact us now directly for that too.!
Soon we will send the Most expected ONGC GATE marks( out of 60) based on these Range of scores. Thanks for providing your responses to let us establish this trend!!
EDIT: Guys Just check your GATE scores based on the marks obtained. In Rank, we actually had lesser data from student but your score prediction should be right based on previous year and response trend from student results and
SCORE formula is entirely based on your marks only.!
Thanks

What do you think of this question.?
Have you noticed in the given choices, that one parameter is "resultant force" and other is "motion". Also, Force only leads to motion.
And contradictory statements are given for both.
Answer should be thruster applies thrust in the opposite direction of resultant environment forces to lower the motion of vessel in that direction. Means in opposite direction of motion too.
I think two choices will be correct.
A,C !!
They might have originally designed this question for MSQ.π

If Sandeep has completed B.Tech in Petroleum Eng. & got AIR-6 in GATE, with a GATE score=897 out of 1000.
and also he got 14 marks out of 15 in ONGC panel Interview.
Then his aggregated marks out of 100 during recruitment will be.
(897*.06) + (20, only B.Tech)+ 14(interview marks)= 87.82/100.
& This 87.82 marks will be compared with other candidates.
So, Whatever your GATE rank may be, if there is not much difference in GATE scores , you can see here the importance of interview marks then.
Hope all understood it now.π

GATE TEST#2-DRILLING ENGINEERING- DRILLING MUD-Test
10 questions, 45 sec each / 10 questions
Dear friends,
Anyone can commit mistake while typing or calculating Answers... Professors at IITS are not exceptions..
These questions are valid candidates for challenge for GATE in Petroleum.
1- Recovery Factor questions.- There volumes at different pressures are taken to calculate the Recovery factor.
Define recovery factor there. Mention that all volumes should either be in STB or in BBL at reservoir pressure. RF is the ratio of volume at same pressure. Range should be increased or should be from 70-72 as per right method.
2-Heat exchanger question because heat transfer coefficient given dimensions are not right(BTU/hrft2).
The Heat transfer coefficient, U has SI units in Watt/ (square meter kelvin): W/(m2K) or BTU/ (hr.ft^2. F) in field unit
While the Heat flux, H is having a unit of W/m2 or BTU/(hr. ft^2)
Also Heat exchanger duty, Q (BTU/hr) can be written in terms of both of the above quantities.
Β»Heat duty in terms of heat flux =Q=H.A,
Β»Heat duty in terms of transfer coefficient=Q= U.A.LMTD
Here A is the heat transfer area required to calculate the number of tubes
Neither it was mentioned that its heat flux value that is given.
In the question given by the GATE, its mentioned that 100 is heat transfer coefficient but the dimension of heat flux ie. (Watt/ft^2) or (BTU/hr.ft^2) were given and it was mentioned that its heat transfer coefficient.
So, this question can be solved by students considering its:
1- considering its dimension to be correct i.e. 100 is Heat flux, leading to number of tubes=1442
2-considering its language to be correct, i.e. 100 is Heat transfer coefficient, leading to number of tubes=28
So, Either GATE committee should consider two ranges key based on how candidates have solved it or that question should be Bonus.
3- That DPS question, we r looking in standard books to strongly support that if we get it, will let u know to add that source while challenging.
Do not hurry while submitting the challenge & before submitting your challenge if you want to let us review that, we will be happy to help.

π₯How to Challenge the GATE Master Keys:
Mention these things clearly in 500 words+provide valid book source
1- Reason for challenge
2- Explaination
3- Provide standard source pdf if possible (books screenshot & name in pdf file you are going to submit.)
4- For numericals also first put all photoes in a word file add book reference clips/screenshots, mention book name then convert to pdf.
4- Conclusion- About what should be answer or range according to you following the standard source.
NOTE: write question number and option, as per the Master paper only!!
