قال ابن عثيمين رحمه الله: «واعلموا أن للصدقة في أيام الحاجة وأيام الشتاء شأنًا كبيرًا فإن الصدقة كلما كانت أنفع للخلق وأخلص للرب كانت أفضل وأعظم أجرا فتفقدوا إخوانكم الفقراء وجودوا عليهم مما جاد الله به عليكم»

الضياء اللامع من الخطب الجوامع (291/2)

Shaykh Muhammad bin Sālih Al-‘Uthaymīn rahimahullāh said:

“Know that charity in times of need and in the winter is of great importance. For indeed, the more beneficial charity is to the people and the more sincere it is to the Lord, the better and greater the reward. So, check on your poor brothers and be kind to them with what Allāh has bestowed upon you”.

قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه :

‏« لا تستعن على حاجتك إلا بمن يحب نجاحها، ولا تستشر إلا الذين يخافون الله ».

‘Umar bin Al-Khattāb (may Allāh be pleased with him) said:

“Do not seek assistance for your needs except from those who love its success, and do not consult with anyone except those who fear Allāh”.

Sunan ar-rawātib: The voluntary prayers prayed either before or after the 5 prayers. Some narrations state that they are 10 units and others 12.

1️⃣ 2 before Fajr (better than the dunyā and that which is in it - Muslim, 725).

2️⃣ 2 before Dhur (Agreed upon - Ibn ‘Umar) or 4 before Dhur (At-Tirmidhī, Umm Habībah).

3️⃣ 2 After Dhur

4️⃣ 2 After Maghrib

5️⃣ 2 After ‘Ishā

Virtues: ▶️ Whoever prays 12 Allāh will build a house for him in Jannah. (At-Tirmidhī, Umm Habībah).

▶️ They make up for any deficiencies in one’s obligatory prayers (At-Tirmidhī, Abū Hurairah).
