The danger of placing one's children in schools that exposes them to doubts, disbelief and immoral values.
The great scholar Bakr Abū Zayd - rahimahullāh- said
“Whoever enrolls his child in a school willingly and gladly while knowing that they - through their curriculums and activities - strive to make the children of the muslims leave their religion and present doubts regarding their Islamic beliefs, then such person is an apostate who has left the religion of Islām as noted by a group of scholars."
Al-Madāris Al-'Ālimiyyah, Pg: 77.

It has been brought to our attention that this post may have caused some confusion to some people. For this reason, we would like to explain what is meant by the statement.
The proof for that which the shaykh rahimahullāh mentioned is in the quyūd (restrictions) mentioned in the speech:
1️⃣ Knowingly
2️⃣ Willing
3️⃣ Gladly
One is to preserve people from doubts in the religion, especially the young who are generally more ignorant and unable to identify doubts.
If a child is not taught his religion and that which will allow him to repel any doubts presented to him, and then is sent to people who will present him with doubts with those responsible for him being happy to do so, knowing what they will exposed to, they will bare the responsibility of the evil consequences.
Allāh ﷻ has commanded us to save our families from the fire:
“O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded”. (66:6)
And the messenger ﷺ said:
"All of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects”. (Agreed upon, on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar, may Allāh be pleased with him and his father).
This speech was not posted to declare takfīr upon anyone, but to show the dangers of taking children to secular schools, where many parents (of older generations) aren’t aware of what occurs.
Children spend up to 8 hours a day in these environments and it is for people of our generation who have studied in these environments to highlight these affairs as well as teaching the youngsters the foundations of their religion.
