“Beware, my Muslim brothers, of marrying your daughters or anyone under your guardianship to someone who does not pray, due to the great danger in that. And they must not show favoritism in this matter to any relative or friend.”

Imām al-Nawawī' rahimahu’Allah said:
“The correct view, which is that which majority of the scholars are upon and of most of the Companions, is that it is prohibited for a woman to look at a man who is not her mahram (al-ajnabi), just as it is prohibited for him to look at her.”

Mālik, the father of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), died as a disbeliever because the Prophet ﷺ forbade wine.
He said to his wife Umm Sulaym, the mother of Anas: “Indeed this man, meaning the Prophet ﷺ, forbids wine!”
So he departed until he reached al-Shām, and he perished there.
[It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd al-Ṭayālisī (2/159)]

“Every time a person reflects upon this magnificent Qur’an and remembers what it contains, its blessing will be bestowed upon him—in his lifespan, in his deeds, in his certainty (faith), and in all of his circumstances.”

Al-Hāfidh Ibn Kathir (rahimahullāh) said in his Tafsīr, under the following verse:
﴿ وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً ﴾
(“And We test you with evil and with good as a trial” – Qur’an 21:35).
Meaning, We test you with calamities at times, and with blessings at other times to see who is grateful and who is ungrateful, and who will be patient and who will fall into despair.”
