Shaykh Muhammad bin Sālih Al-‘Uthaymīn rahimahullāh said:

“A person remaining with his family brings about much good—such as closeness, affection, love, and upbringing.

It allows for consideration of their circumstances, discipline, and guidance.

Therefore, it is appropriate that a person should not separate from his family except out of necessity.
And once that need ends, he should return to them.”

‎Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahu’Allah) said:

‎“And in the authentic narration from him ﷺ: “Indeed, Allah is Beautiful and loves beauty.” (Sahih Muslim)

‎The beauty of Allah—Glorified is He—is upon four levels:

‎- The beauty of His Essence (جمال الذات)
‎- The beauty of His Attributes (جمال الصفات)
‎- The beauty of His Actions (جمال الأفعال)
‎- The beauty of His Names (جمال الأسماء)

‎For all His Names are Most Beautiful (ḥusnā). All His Attributes are attributes of perfection, and all His Actions are based on wisdom, benefit, justice, and mercy.

‎[al-Fawāʾid 1/264]
قال ابن القيم رحمه الله -:

من أعظم الظلم والجهل:

أن تطلب التعظيم من الناس ،

وقلبك خال من تعظيم الله وتوقيره .

Shaykh Rabī’ bin Hādī Al-Madkhalī has passed away.

The shaykh was from the senior scholars known for his knowledge in the field of Hadīth, his adherence to the sunnah and his opposition to bid’ah & its people.

We ask Allāh that He forgives him, has mercy upon him, raises his rank in Jannah and allow for his works to be a continuous charity for him.

‎May Allah have mercy on Sheikh al-Allāmah Rabee ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī, and all the scholars and mashaykhs of the Sunnah who have passed away, and may He cure those who are sick.

‎Al-Allāmah Abdul-Muḥsin al-Abbād (hafidahu’Allah) was asked: “Is the death of the scholars a sign of the Hour?”

‎The Answer:

‎“There is no doubt that the death of the scholars is a great loss for the Muslims. The loss of the scholars is the loss of the knowledge that was with them.

‎As for their death being among the signs of the Hour, it has been established in the two Ṣaḥīḥs on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
‎The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

‎ ‘Indeed, among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge will be lifted, ignorance will prevail, alcohol will be consumed, and fornication will become widespread.’

‎This is undoubtedly proof that the death of the scholars is among the signs of the Hour. For the lifting of knowledge—as is well known—occurs with the passing away of its carriers. Just as the Messenger ﷺ said:

‎‘Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He takes away knowledge through the death of the scholars.’

‎This hadith indicates that their death is among the signs of the Hour.”

“And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me & to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination”. (31:14)

(And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness) Ibn ʿAbbās said: “Hardship upon hardship.” Ad-Ḍaḥḥāk said: “Weakness upon weakness. Mujāhid said: “Distress upon distress.” Az-Zajjāj said: “When a woman becomes pregnant, weakness and hardship come upon her successively.” It is said: “Pregnancy is a weakness, labour is a weakness, and delivery is a weakness.”

(and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination”)

Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah said about this āyah: “Whoever performs the five daily prayers has shown gratitude to Allāh, and whoever supplicates for his parents after the five daily prayers has shown gratitude to his parents”.
