and to continually maintain hope in both (response and acceptance), and persist in earnestly pleading in du‘ā.
For indeed, Allāh loves those who are persistent in du‘ā”.

Imām ibn al-'Uthaymeen rahimahullāh said:
“Despairing from the mercy of Allah and feeling that it is beyond reach is from the major sins.
That which is obligatory upon a person is to have good thoughts of his Lord.
So if he supplicates to Him, he should do so with the good thought that He will answer him.
And if he worships Him with that which the legislation calls to, then he should have good thoughts that Allah will accept it from him.
And if hardship befalls him, he should have good thoughts that Allah will remove it—because of the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: “And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.”

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Tomorrow (26/06/25) marks the 1st of Muharram 1447 and while we don’t celebrate the new year, there are a few things to point out.
1️⃣ Muharram is a sacred month, just like the two before it as well as Rajab.
2️⃣ The best fast after Ramadhān is fasting in the month of Muharram (Muslim, 1163).
3️⃣ Allāh ascribed this month to Himself (Allāh’s month Al-Muharram, Muslim: 1163).
4️⃣ The first 10 days of this month are 1 lot of 3 10s that the salaf would magnify as mentioned by Abū ‘Uthmān An-Nahdī rahimahullāh.
5️⃣ Fasting on the 10th of this month (‘Āshūrā - 05/07/25 in shā Allāh) is recommended and in it is a great reward. (Muslim, 1162).
6️⃣ Fasting the 9th is also recommended (Muslim, 1134).
May Allāh grant us tawfīq & keep us steadfast.

For every time he tries to revive an innovation and destroy a sunnah, the scholar comes between him and that goal.

“A person remaining with his family brings about much good—such as closeness, affection, love, and upbringing.
It allows for consideration of their circumstances, discipline, and guidance.
Therefore, it is appropriate that a person should not separate from his family except out of necessity.
And once that need ends, he should return to them.”
