قال الشيخ محمد ناصر الدين الألباني رحمه الله :

الحق ثقيلٌ ، فلا تثقلوهُ أكثر بسوءِ أخلاقكم ،

كنتُ أعتقدُ أن المشكلةَ في الأمةِ، مشكلةُ عقيدةٍ،

وتبينَ لي أنها عقيدة وأخلاق .

Shaykh Muhammad Nāsir Ad-Dīn Al- Albānī rahimahullāh said:

“The truth is heavy, so do not make it even heavier with your bad manners.

I used to believe that the problem of the Ummah was a problem in ‘Aqīdah, but it became clear to me that it is a problem of both ‘Aqīdah and manners”.

قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله:

إن العبد إنما خلق لعبادة ربه،

فصلاحه وكماله ولذته وفرحه وسروره في أن يعبد ربه وينيب إليه،

وذلك قدر زائد على مسألته،والافتقار إليه.

Shaykh Al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullāh said:

“The servant was created solely to worship his Lord.

His well-being, perfection, pleasure, joy, and happiness lie in worshiping his Lord and turning to Him in repentance.

This is something beyond merely asking from Him and feeling dependent on Him.”

قال الشيخ محمد بن صالح العثيمين رحمه الله:

كيف تضيعون الصلاة،
وهي الصلة بينكم وبين ربكم،

إذا لم يكن بينكم وبين ربكم صلة،
فأين العبودية .

📚الضياء اللامع (١٣٧)

Shaykh Muhammad bin Sālih Al-‘Uthaymīn rahimahullāh said:

“How can you neglect the prayer, when it is the connection between you and your Lord?

If there is no connection between you and your Lord, then where is your servitude?”

قال عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه:

إنِّي لأُبغِضُ الرَّجلَ أنْ أَراهُ فارِغًا،

ليس في شَيءٍ مِن عَملِ الدُّنيا ولا عَملِ الآخِرَة.

📙الزهد لأحمد بن حنبل: (ص: 131)

‘Abdullāh bin Mas’ūd (may Allāh be pleased with him) said:

“Indeed, I despise seeing a man idle, neither in any work towards his worldly affairs nor in any work for the Hereafter.”

قَالَ بَعضُ السَّلَفِ

مَا نَزل مِن السَّمَاءِ أعزُّ مِن التَّوفِيـقِ،

ولَا صَعِدَ مِن الأرضِ أعزُّ مِن الإخـلَاصِ .

Some of the righteous predecessors said:

“Nothing more precious than divine guidance has descended from the heavens, and nothing more precious than sincerity has ascended from the earth.”

قال الشيخ عبدالرحمن بن ناصر السعدي رحمه الله:

أكبر المِنَن :

أن يُحبِّب الله الإيمان للعبد،
ويزينه في قلبـــــــــه،
ويذيقه حــــــــــلاوته،
وتنقاد جوارحه للعمل .

📕التوضيح والبيان

Shaykh ‘Abdurahmān bin Nāsir As-Sa’dī rahimahullāh said:

The greatest blessings:

⏺️That Allāh makes faith beloved to His servant.

⏺️Adorns it in his heart.

⏺️Lets him taste its sweetness.

⏺️And his limbs submit to action”.

‏قال الإمام وهيب بن الورد -رحمه الله-:

‏لا يكون همُّ أحدكم في كثرة العمل،
‏ولكن ليكن همُّه في إحكامه وتحسينه،

‏فإن العبد قد يصلي وهو يعصي الله في صلاته، وقد يصوم وهو يعصي الله في صيامه.

Al-Imām Wuhaib bin Al-Ward rahimahullāh said:

Let not your concern be the quantity of deeds, but rather focus on perfecting and improving them. For a servant may pray while disobeying Allah in his prayer, and he may fast while disobeying Allah in his fasting.”
