Imām Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullāh) said:

"Good life is not as some people understand it: being safe from afflictions of poverty, sickness, and distress.

No, rather good life is when a person has a good heart, an open chest, and is at peace with Allah's decree and fate.

If good fortune befalls him, he is thankful, and that is better for him; and if adversity befalls him, he is patient, and that is better for him.

This is the good life, and it is the comfort of the heart.

As for abundance of wealth and bodily health, it may be a cause of misery and exhaustion for a person."

‎The awe of the Messenger ﷺ in the hearts of the imams and the righteous.

‎Imām Mālik, rahimahu’Allah, said: “Abd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Qāsim would mention the Prophet ﷺ, and one would look at his complexion as though blood had drained from it, and his tongue had dried in his mouth—out of awe for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”

Ibn al-Jawzi, rahimahu’Allah, said:

The scholars of tafsir said, “At-tajassus (spying) is searching for the faults of the Muslims and their private matters, meaning let not one of you search for the fault of his brother to expose it if Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has concealed it.”

Powerful Poem in Refutation of Christianity by Al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim, May Allaah have mercy on him.
I would advise everyone with Christian friends, colleagues and family members to forward this poem to them, perhaps Allaah opens their hearts to Islam.

It was narrated that Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Whoever prays twelve rak’ahs in a day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise because of them.” [Muslim]

Imām Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullāh) was asked:

"Is the one who prays them and is consistent upon them—on the day he prays them—have a house built for him in Paradise? Or, if he prays them for three days, for example, will three houses be built for him? Or how is it?”

He replied (rahimahu’Allah):
“Whoever prays twelve rakʿahs in a day and a night, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise—this applies in general. Then, if he maintains them consistently, it becomes that for every day that passes in which he prays them, a house is built for him in Paradise.”

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahu’Allah) said:

"The common folk say: The value of every person is what he excels at.
And the elite say: The value of every person is what he seeks.”

Imam Ibn Al-Qayim rahimahu’Allah said: “He intends: That the value of a person is in his determination and what he seeks”

Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi rahimahu'allāh said:

There is no sin with Allah, Mighty and Majestic, after shirk, greater than two things:

One of them is deliberately abandoning the obligatory prayer until its time exits;

The second is killing a believing man or a believing woman deliberately without right.
