A man said to Al-Hasan Al-Basrī: “Does Iblīs sleep? Al-Hasan said: If he had slept, we would have found rest”.

"اعلم أن الحياة الطيبة لا تقتضي كثرة المال، ولا كثرة الأولاد، ولا القصور المشيدة، بل الطيبة ما طاب عيش صاحبها ولو كان أفقر الناس”. (شرح الكافية الشافية ، ٤/٤٦٤)
Shaykh Muhammad bin Sālih Al-‘Uthaymīn rahimahullāh said:
“Know that a good life does not require a lot of money, children, or built palaces, but rather a good life is that one lives well, even if he is the poorest of people”.
(Sharh Al-Kāfiyah Ash-Shāfiyah, 4/464).
