Ibrahim al-Taymī (rahimahu’Allah) said:

“Two things cut the pleasure of the worldly life from me: remembering death and remembering the standing before Allah, the Most High.”

Al-Fuḍayl ibn ‘Iyāḍ rahimahu’Allah said :

“The Qur’an was revealed to be acted upon, yet the people have taken its recitation as acting upon it.”

[Akhlaq Hamalat al-Qur’an by al-Ājurrī, p. 38]
Allah, The Most High, says:

“And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear on themselves the crime of slander and plain sin.” [33:58]

Sheikh ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahu’Allah) said:

“And harming [others] is to harm a person with something that causes him emotional pain or with something that causes him physical pain. And all of this is prohibited.”

Imam al-Sa'di rahimahu'allāh said:

“The best of people is the one whose lust and desires are in accordance with what the Messenger ﷺ brought, and whose anger and defense are in support of the truth against falsehood.

And the worst of people is the one who is overcome by his lust and his anger.

And there is no might nor strength except with Allah.”

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahu’Allah) said:

“The Rāfiḍah are a defeated nation. They do not possess sound intellect, nor authentic transmitted evidence, nor an acceptable religion, nor a successful worldly life.”
