From the Sunnah is making marriage easy
Al- Allāmah Ibn Bāz rahimahullāh said:
“There is no doubt that the Sunnah is not to be excessive in dowries and wedding feasts for the purpose of facilitating the marriage of young men and young women,
and that the family of the husband and the family of the wife advise one another to leave off excessiveness and to keep dowries few, as encouragement for young people to marry.”

Valuing One’s Opinion Over Scholars: The Way of Innovators.
Fudayl Ibn Iyāḍ (raḥimahullāh) said:
“If the innovator humbled himself before the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ, he would have followed and would not have innovated; but rather, he became impressed with his opinion, so he followed that which he invented.”

Description of Those Whose Hearts Are Attached to the Masjid.
Al-Hāfidh Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, rahimahullāh, said:
“He loves the Masjid and becomes accustomed to worshipping Allah in it. When he leaves it, his heart remains attached to it until he returns.
This only occurs for one who has control over his soul and led it to the obedience of Allah, so it submits to him.
For desire calls only to the love of places of desire, lawful or unlawful amusement, and places of trade and the acquisition of wealth.
Therefore , no one confines his soul to loving the places of worship except one who opposes his desire and gives precedence over it to the love of his Master.”

ما صفة الرجل المعلق قلبه بالمسجد؟

Imām Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullāh) said:
“Some students of knowledge today are harsher than the Bedouins. He has neither cheerfulness, nor greeting, nor humility.
Rather, some people, when they increase in knowledge, increase in arrogance, and we seek refuge with Allah.
The true scholar is the one who, when he increases in knowledge, increases in humility.”
