Imām Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullāh) said:
“Every time a person reflects upon this magnificent Qur’an and remembers what it contains, its blessing will be bestowed upon him—in his lifespan, in his deeds, in his certainty (faith), and in all of his circumstances.”

Al-Hāfidh Ibn Kathir (rahimahullāh) said in his Tafsīr, under the following verse:
(“And We test you with evil and with good as a trial” – Qur’an 21:35).
Meaning, We test you with calamities at times, and with blessings at other times to see who is grateful and who is ungrateful, and who will be patient and who will fall into despair.”

Some scholars said:
“We did not seek knowledge in order to encompass all of it, since there is no way to that [for that is impossible], but rather to increase what is correct and to reduce error.”

The reward is of the same kind as the deed.
What is the reason the angels felt shy from Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him)?
Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“As for Uthman, he himself was shy, so the angels felt shy from him, because the reward is of the same kind as the deed.”
