[ROOT] Get samsung specific Google Message updates directly from Play Store

This is very old news itself. Samsung users have this specific UI making it easier for one handed use.

For other Android devices - You have to sideload samsung specific APKs (Version ending with "phone_samsung_openbeta_dynamic" (for beta users).

If you are rooted, you can use this magisk module which I created for my usage back in 2021. One installed, you don't have to sideload the APKs. You will get direct updates from Play Store for this samsung specific message version.

Play Store uses the <feature name="com.samsung.feature.SAMSUNG_EXPERIENCE_AM"/> flag to detect samsung devices and push that samsung specific version. This magisk module places this feature flag in your system, therefore appearing as samsung device for Play Store.

Installation -
1. Flash the module in magisk
2. Clear data of Play Store
3. Reboot and open Play Store, you will see an update for Google Message. Update it and enjoy.

Btw Google is rolling out the "select all" button in Gmail which I spotted a few days ago. It is enabled by default on the latest version of Gmail for me. If you didn't get the latest update from Play Store - Download apk from apkmirror (2023.09.17.567125956.Release)

In addition to rolling out "Select all" feature, Gmail is also getting rid of the "Help me write" button in right bottom corner and moving it to the action bar with a ⭐✏️ icon which makes sense because the hype is over.

This is hidden behind a flag, so not rolling out yet.

Instead of calling it "Link Your Devices", Google finally renamed it to "Cross-device services".
Cross-device services is basically an app for Android which allows app streaming/notification and a few other things directly from your phone to Chromebook. But with "Link your devices" as a part of Google Play Services, your smartphone itself will become a part of a device group which will allow doing similar things between your Android devices. Such as instant hotspot, call streaming (!!), seamlessly switching video calls and maybe more which we don't know yet.

And one more thing to notice is that - The device group activity is not accessible now and new flag added in Play Service indicate that this feature may depend on a chimera module (separate apk which Play Services install as module and enables various other features when requested, such as Digital car key, linking Matter devices, fastpair etc)
