The new Total War remaster has tons of poorly AI upscaling and no AI disclosure on Steam. Reviews are bad which is both expected and justified. SEGA used to have strict no AI policy last year, then allowed AI just a few months ago. Were they that desperate?…
Do they mean that they somehow missed all these atrocities during testing and quality reviews? Very unlikely... Have they expected it will work out somehow?

We all know how it ended up with GTA definitive trilogy: it's still a disappointment.

The best Dofus movie is coming to YouTube (officially and free). It will be available this Friday and I can't recommend it more.

Go find and watch Dofus: Kerub's Bazaar before that!

Valve just quietly dropped the Steam client update. It made the loading times much faster. It's also much faster now than Epic's vibe coded atrocity 🀣

And this Steam fix is not unexpected: beta of this update was available for over a month. Epic may knew it if they would check it (at least with their AI)

The superior startup time was generally the only advantage Epic was able to show, so...

The last one, I promise: it seems like the app can consume all of your RAM. Titanic was leaking less than their vibe code...

LAIKA is basically the son of the evil billionaire making good thing and don't care much about the profitability.

But their art is priceless: ages later it's still stop-motion, still tiny puppets on wires but at scales no one could ever imagine.

And you know what? They haven't brought it to Bulgaria, local networks simply skipped it. No release date, nothing.

People say that Morrowind is a very slow game, but then you get a BMW and things are getting so much easier!

πŸ₯³ And last but not least: Andrei has a birthday now and you can support him by adding his cat companion game to your [WISHLIST] https://store.steampowered.com/app/4865920/Pocket_Cat_Desktop/ #IndieGames@GameDEV #Cats@GameDEV
Also you may be curious why do people always ask to wishlist β€” just post a game on Steam and it will find you the audience. Right?

Wrong: Steam will not spend anything on your indie game by default and has no paid marketing either. There are a few exceptions:

1. Your game will be shown before the release and during the release window to find out if people are getting curious. It will be shown often only if you already gained traction.

2. Your game will be shown during the first two days of the Next Fest. It's 100% random and by days 3-4 it will start giving the priorities to games that clicked.

Every other time your tiny indie game has basically zero support. It's shown here and there but at scale that gives it 1-2 wishlists a day. Imagine that you need at least 10 000 to release the game, but often 20-50K for a commercial success. At native 2/day it will take eternity.
