⚠️ Note that not all police units removed their helmets. CRS and BRAV-M kept their whole protective equipment. Note also that despite some protesters applauding the police officers removing their helmets, other protesters kept insulting them. The situation is not manichean. But still this is a symbolical action.

🚩 Far left activists and alleged "refugees" settled around 500 tents in Republic Square, to create a new migrant camp in the heart of Paris.

⚒️ Eric Coquerel is a MP of Mélenchon's Neo-Marxist party called "LFI". He spent nearly 20 years in the Ligue Communiste Révolutionnaire (Revolutionary Communist League).

💥 Last year, he became known for organizing the assault on the Basilica of Saint-Denis, the necropolis of the Kings of France. Leading several hundred migrants, they entered the church and occupied it.

🌐 They are also known to be part of what we called in France the "Soros Galaxy", that is to say NGO directly or indirectly sponsored by George Soros, the Hungarian philanthropist giving money to promote liberalism.
