🚫 In France, postal voting was totally abolished in 1975, as the deputies at the time considered that it considerably increased the cases of fraud.

👨🏻‍⚖️ But COVID-19 is shifting the lines. The majority MPs belonging to Macron's party (LREM) announced their willingness to return to postal voting as of this year. It could even become the only way of voting.

👉🏻 Today, several demonstrations are going to merge in front of the National Assembly in Paris, which is thus in a state of siege, protected by the police.

🎂 First, the event for the two-year anniversary of the Yellow Vests movement.

👮🏻‍♂️ But above all the demonstration against the "Global Security law", which aims to prohibit journalists and citizens from broadcasting images of police or riot police.

🇫🇷☪️ FRANCE GIVES A 2-WEEK ULTIMATUM TO MUSLIMS

📈 While France is facing a rise in the Muslim population (20% of Muslim births in 2019), Islamic political demands and terrorism are fracturing society.

👳🏾‍♂️ Macron has therefore left an ultimatum of 2 weeks to the Muslims of France to accept a charter to "submit Islam to the values of the Republic". The charter provides :

➡️ the obligation to accept criticism against Islam as free speech
➡️ the ban on home schooling
➡️ children will have an individual identification number to track them and make sure they go to "republican schools"
➡️ the prohibition of receiving foreign funds to finance Islam, mosques or Muslim associations
➡️ the recognition that French laws apply above Shariah Law.

📌 Note: these measures are aimed primarily at Islam, but will be applied against all other population groups, including Trad Catholics who want to home-school their children. Nothing was specified in relation to Jewish schools.

👮🏻‍♂️ The whole neighborhood of the French parliament has been barricaded by police forces today, as French authorities are fearing a new wave of protest that could reach the National Assembly (AN).

👨🏻‍⚖️ The situation is under tension as the French parliament is enacting today the new "Global Security" Law, that will allow the government to control even more independent journalists : for example, street journalists will not be able anymore to broadcast video showing riot police operation.

📌 2022 election. Macron criticism of Islam and immigration serves him simply to get the votes of the right-wing citizens and thus to win the election by qualifying in the first round.
👉🏻 And, once the first round is won, he is certain to win the election.
👉🏻 Thanks to the antifascist doctrine of the "cordon sanitaire, the whole left will vote for Macron in the second round against Marine Le Pen.
