የመንግሥት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት አመራረጥ አዲስ መመሪያ በመዘጋጀት ላይ እንደሚገኝ ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ገለፀ፡፡
ከመንግሥት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የሃብት ብክነት እና ብልሹ አሰራር ጋር በተያያዘ አስተያየታቸውን ለፋና ቴሌቪዥን የሰጡት ትምህርት ሚኒስትሩ ብርሃኑ ነጋ (ፕ/ር) እንደገለፁት፤ በትግራይ ክልል ከሚገኙ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በስተቀር በሁሉም ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የሱፐርቪዥን ቡድን በመላክ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎቹ ያሉባቸውን ችግሮች መጠናቱን ገልፀዋል፡፡
"ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የብዙ ደሃ ሕዝብ ሃብት የሚፈስባቸው ቦታዎች ናቸው" ያሉት ሚኒስትሩ፤ ስለዚህ ተቋማቱ በሙስናና ብልሹ አሰራር የተጨመላለቀ አስተዳደር ሊኖራቸው አይገባም ብለዋል፡፡
ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በዋናነት የተማረ የሰው ኃይል ከማምረት ይልቅ፣ ህንጻ ማምረት ላይ የተሰማሩ ተቋማት እንደነበሩ ያስታወሱት ሚኒስትሩ፤ "ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የሚታለቡ የጥገት ላሞች ናቸው" የሚለው የአንዳንድ ግለሰቦች አባባል አሁን ላይ አይሠራም ብለዋል፡፡
ሦስት ጊዜ መጥፎ የኦዲት ግኝት ያለበት ዩኒቨርሲቲን የሚመሩ ከፍተኛ አመራሮች በሙሉ ከኃላፊነታቸው እንዲነሱ የሚያዝ የገንዘብ ሚኒስቴር መመሪያ መኖሩን ጠቁመዋል፡፡ ኃላፊዎቹም በህግ የሚጠየቁበት አግባብ መኖሩንም አክለዋል፡፡ ይህንን አሰራር በመከተል "ሦስት ጊዜ መጥፎ የኦዲት ግኝት ያለበት ዩኒቨርሲቲን የሚመሩ አመራሮችን በሙሉ እንቀይራለን" ሲሉ ተናግረዋል፡፡

"ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የብዙ ደሃ ሕዝብ ሃብት የሚፈስባቸው ቦታዎች ናቸው" ያሉት ሚኒስትሩ፤ ስለዚህ ተቋማቱ በሙስናና ብልሹ አሰራር የተጨመላለቀ አስተዳደር ሊኖራቸው አይገባም ብለዋል፡፡
ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በዋናነት የተማረ የሰው ኃይል ከማምረት ይልቅ፣ ህንጻ ማምረት ላይ የተሰማሩ ተቋማት እንደነበሩ ያስታወሱት ሚኒስትሩ፤ "ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የሚታለቡ የጥገት ላሞች ናቸው" የሚለው የአንዳንድ ግለሰቦች አባባል አሁን ላይ አይሠራም ብለዋል፡፡
