Now, do you know the best thing about GTA games? It's an open world, but people seldom realize the true potential of the open world games. There's more than one way to pass a mission, and there's more than one way to exploit various bugs and glitches to enhance your gaming experience. We all know that, like that famous bunny-hop glitch in GTA: San Andreas, which is integral to passing the BMX challenge.
Some people take full advantage of this open world, they explore, find loopholes, bugs, exploits and turn their gaming experience into something like Experience Super Plus

What happened to it? What happened to the Families? And who was that OG Johnson, mentioned by that NPC?
My personal comfort theory is that GTA V is indeed set in another universe. See, the whole neighborhood is different, the Arena’s in the wrong place, and the cul-de-sac doesn’t have Ryder’s home there. So… technically nothing’s happened to our Grove Street, it’s just a whole different Grove Street altogether.
