नुआखाई ओडिशा और छत्तीसगढ़ में मनाया जाने वाला एक कृषि उत्सव है, जिसका अर्थ "नया भोजन" या "नई फसल" खाना है. यह भाद्रपद महीने के चंद्र पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि को मनाया जाता है और इसमें नई फ़सल के चावल सबसे पहले देवों को अर्पित किए जाते हैं. इस दिन लोग अपने बड़ों का आशीर्वाद लेते हैं, उपहारों का आदान-प्रदान करते हैं और "नुआखाई जुहार" कहकर शुभकामनाएं देते हैं.

The Chausath Yogini temple in Mitaoli, Madhya Pradesh,


is believed to have inspired the old Indian Parliament’s circular, pillared structure.


Built in the 14th century, this temple is dedicated to 64 powerful yoginis and features unique architectural elements, including a hypaethral design with no roof.

How many gates are in the new Parliament building?


There are six gates of the new Parliament building. These are — Gaj (elephant); Ashwa (horse); Garud (king of birds); Makar (mythical sea creature); Shardul (mythical lion-headed creature); and Hams (swan)
