Ramon Magsaysay Award
The Ramon Magsaysay Award 2026 has been awarded to Tommy Koh (Singapore), Bo Kyi (Myanmar) and Runa Khan (Bangladesh).
The Ramon Magsaysay Award is widely regarded as “Asia’s Nobel Prize” and recognises selfless public service in Asia. The award was established in 1958 and is named after Ramon Magsaysay, former President of the Philippines.
The awards will be presented at the Metropolitan Theatre in Manila, Philippines, on 15 November 2026. Each recipient will receive a medallion, an inscribed certificate and a cash prize
