An interesting detail can be seen here in recent footage released by the IRGC Navy showing attacks on vessels that took “unauthorised” routes through the Strait of Hormuz. A drone appears to fail on its way to its target, likely due to its extremely steep, nearly 90° descent, causing it to accelerate to excessive speeds and place significant stress on the airframe, ultimately resulting in it breaking apart.
