We are honored to welcome Yared Endale, Cluster Head for Eastern Africa and Country Manager for Visa Ethiopia, as a keynote speaker at DevFest Addis 2025.

Yared leads Visa’s strategy, partnerships, and digital payments growth across the Eastern Africa region. With 20+ years of experience in FinTech and banking, he has held senior roles in digital transformation at Cooperative Bank of Oromia, Bank of Abyssinia, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and Wegagen Bank.

He has extensive expertise in implementing digital and core banking systems across East Africa and the Middle East. Yared holds a Master’s in Computer Science, a BSc in Applied Physics, and certifications in Project Management and Scrum.

⭐️ Panelist Spotlight – DevFest Addis 2025

We are pleased to feature Kidus Yared as a panelist at DevFest Addis 2025.

Kidus is the Co-Founder and CEO of Hasab AI, an audio-intelligence company developing high-accuracy Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies for African and other underserved languages. His work is helping bring language inclusion and accessibility to AI systems across the continent.

Before founding Hasab AI, Kidus held senior leadership roles at Chapa Financial Technologies, contributing to the growth of one of Ethiopia’s leading fintech platforms. A software engineer by training, he also advises local and international organizations on technology, product strategy, and innovation.
