Millions of people are coming online for the first time.
Nearly 800 million people in the world struggle to read.
Understanding text in a foreign language can be difficult for those visiting a new country.
Those are just a few reasons why Google built a text-to-speech feature into Google Lens.
There are several components that make this happen - image capture, text recognition, understanding text structure, translation, text-to-speech, etc. But we are most excited about text recognition, or optical character recognition (OCR). There are many applications of OCR, and what we described above was just one of them.
We are very excited to kick off the βShare Your Scriptβ campaign - which will have a direct impact on improving OCR for handwritten text in your native language. If you would like to participate, please fill this form.
You can help millions of people access information in Amharic and other your native language.

Here are the steps:
1. Sign up to participate - Donβt forget to fill the participation form (https://bit.ly/38CSpSV) and ask anyone else who would like to participate to fill it too. The campaign is live till December 19, 2020.
2. Keep contributing images of handwritten text - You can upload pictures of handwritten text that you already have, or can write new content by following the broad guidelines that we shared for each format (passage, list, notes). The more diverse styles that you can get, the better it is for OCR models to learn!
3. Label your images - When you upload images on Image Capture, do label them properly-
3.1. Passage (minimum 3-6 sentences): script, amharic, passage / α΅ααͺαα΅, α ααα, ααα£α₯
3.2. List (eg. grocery lists, to-do lists): script, amharic, list / α΅ααͺαα΅, α ααα, αααα
3.2. Notes (eg. educational notes): script, amharic, notes / α΅ααͺαα΅, α ααα, αα΅α³αα»αα½
4. Prioritize quality and privacy - As always, the quality of your contributions is very important. Please contribute images that are not blurred and have a significant amount of meaningful text. Make sure that no sensitive or personally identifiable information is captured in the images.
Feel free to share this form (https://bit.ly/38CSpSV) with anyone else who you think might be interested in participating - Please make sure that you ask them to mention your name in the βOtherβ field of the last question in the form. We will have a *special surprise* for those who can bring the most number of new participants to the campaign.
Thanks,
Google Crowdsource Team

Well, if you don't, you can check out who he is just by watching one or more of these videos.
Anyways, a few hours ago he said on his post:
I canβt wait to share what we have in store with our latest webinar here at KnowBe4. Of course, I'll show another cool demo that the team built that illustrates a real attack scenario, which fully compromises the target's Active Directory environment.
βοΈ When the Bad Guys Hide in Plain Sight: Hacking Platforms You Know and Trust βοΈ
In this session weβll share:
π Why you shouldnβt always trust legitimate providers like Google Drive
π How hackers use safe email senders to bypass email security tools
π The dangers of storing passwords in your browser
π Actual phishing attacks weβre seeing in the wild
πEye-opening hacking demos you won't want to miss
See the dangers lurking behind seemingly innocent actions for yourself.
Join Perry Carpenter and me on December 9 2:00 PM EST as we discuss best security practices and why your users should think twice before trusting seemingly benign emails.
